SeeMyBaby is free to download. To make portraits you need credits, which come with a weekly or yearly subscription, and the 4-year-old preview is a separate one-time purchase. Everything is billed by Apple through your App Store account.

What a subscription includes
- Credits for multiple portraits, not unlimited. Each render of an ultrasound to baby portrait or a parents’ photo portrait uses credits from your plan.
- The gender reveal party if you pick a plan “with gender reveal”. If you already know the sex, you don’t need it: tell the app and no guess is made.
- Your gallery of past portraits, saving and sharing.
The 4-year-old preview isn’t part of any plan. You unlock it once for the child you want to see at 4.
Is SeeMyBaby free?
Honestly, no, not to make portraits. Downloading the app, answering the questions and pulling the ribbon on the gift-box teaser cost nothing. Every portrait, though, needs credits from a plan, and there’s no free, unlimited version. We’d rather say that here than surprise you on the paywall.
How to cancel
You can cancel anytime on your iPhone:
- Open Settings.
- Tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Choose SeeMyBaby and tap Cancel Subscription.
Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Apple’s guide to cancelling a subscription shows the same steps for iPad and Mac. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
Refunds
Because the App Store handles payment, refunds are requested from Apple, not from us. Sign in at reportaproblem.apple.com, choose “Request a refund” and pick the purchase. Apple’s page on requesting a refund explains the steps; Apple makes the decision.
Restore purchases
New phone, or reinstalled the app? Open SeeMyBaby, go to Settings and tap Restore purchases. Your active subscription comes back, as long as you’re signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with.
